Promotion

Promotion comes from the Lord. Not because of your so-called good looks. Not because of your so-called talents. The Lord. That's where promotion comes from. So we humble ourselves and acknowledge who God is in our lives.

The Bible tells us to work as unto the Lord. In other words, work like God is your boss or supervisor. Do you give an honest day's work? I've heard my Pastor say that when many people get a job, they stop looking for work. Are you someone like that? I pray not!

Don't be a complainer either. If there's a problem, pray about it. Give it to the Lord. But stop complaining. God is able to change things for you. Who's going to promote a lazy, complaining person? So if want to be promoted, seek to please God, not people.

Did God Say That?

Did God tell you to quit? Did God tell you that it's over? Did He say there's no hope? Did He say "What's the use"?

These sound like things the devil would say to you. If so, don't listen to the devil. He's a liar, you know. You don't give a liar the time of day. Pay attention to the Word of God. You really want to win in life? Pay close attention to what the Lord has to say.

He's Alpha and Omega. He has the first say about your life and the last say. The best thing to do is allow God's Word to reign supreme in your life. If God didn't say it, don't believe it. What He says leads us to victory. So ask yourself, "Did God say that?"

God's Love

God's love is a wonderful thing. In fact, we should have more confidence in His love than in His power. Every once in awhile we need to remind ourselves of this fact afresh.

I believe the devil wants to create a doubt relative to God's love for us. According to 1 John 4:17-19, perfect love casts out fear. If we are settled in God's love, we know He's got our back. That's very good news.

It's good to know that God is in love with us. Man's love is fickle. But know that God's love never fails. It never changes. Let us rest in His love like never before. Embrace His love afresh. God loves you. Perfect.

Yes and Amen

The promises of God are "yes" and "amen" according to 2 Cor. 1:20. They are not "maybe" or "might". Praise God we can take them to the bank, as it were. Yes. Amen. So be it. I am personally working on getting this down on the inside of me.

If God has promised something, we can look for Him to bring it to past in due season. With God, there's always a fullness of time, a due season.

As the hymn says, we need the grace to trust Him more. We must. I know that "I" must, can't speak for no one else. We have to know that He's got this. We just have to trust His timing. Thank God for the grace to trust Him more. We all need this kind of grace. Yes and amen to that.

Witness

Mark my words: The same people who are trying to witness your fall will be the same people to witness your rise in God. Want proof? Ask Daniel. Ask the Three Hebrew Boys. The same people who were trying to witness their fall, God caused them to witness their rise.

Go on about your business, as it were. God will show them something to where they'll witness the power and goodness of God in your life. God will do this thing! You follow God. Serve the Lord. Praise His wonderful Name. It won't be you. It'll be the God IN you doing this.

You give Him the glory in advance. Give praise to His wonderful and awesome Name. Your enemies are about to be subpoenaed to witness the glory of God in YOUR life. Just know, your enemies have been served.

It's Not Over

It's not over, unless YOU say it's over. If you don't quit, throw in the towel, or give up, it's not over. It's God's desire for us to win in life, win over the circumstances of life. 2 Corinthians 2:14 speaks of God always causing us to triumph in Christ Jesus. He's looking to put us in a position of victory.

It might look like you're losing to the "natural" eye. That's why it's important to view things thru "spiritual" eyes. The "natural" eye may view defeat and failure. The "spiritual" eye may view God working things out some how, some way. Strengthen your spiritual outlook of things by seeing what the Bible has to say about your situation.

It does matter what you have your eyes on. What you're looking at will either encourage you to fight on or discourage you to the point of quitting. Ultimately, you have to make the decision. God wants you to win. He gave us Jesus so that we could win in this life and have eternal life.

It's not over, unless you say it's over. If you don't get a telegram directly from heaven telling you to quit, fight on in Jesus' Name. It's not over. It's not.

Let Jesus Make You

Follow Jesus and He'll make you. Not just a fisher of men. He'll make you into whatever you need to be. What we need to be is what He has willed for us to be. Many people struggle in life trying to be this or trying to be that.

Jesus told Peter and Andrew to follow Him and He would make them to fish men. The key phrase is "make them". Jesus wants to make us. But do we have His permission? Are we in His way? Do we cooperate with how He wants to leads us? These are important questions to answer within our hearts.

God wants to do so much with our lives if we'll just let go and let God. Let Him do what HE wants to do. Even Jesus said in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Not my will, but yours be done." In order for God to make us, we have to be in a position thru prayer and commitment to the Lord. No matter what. Then, He can make us what HE wants us to be!

Crucify!!!

Crucify!!! Crucify!!! The person you see in the mirror, Crucify!!! That's where our victory in Christ really begins. My pastor recently ministered on this and I'm working on getting it down on the inside of me.

Our worst enemy is not our spouse or our neighbor. It's still the person we see in the mirror. I'm not talking about trying to angle the mirror to see the person behind you. You! Me! That's who we have to deal with to walk in total victory.

It takes humility to acknowledge how much we really need to die to ourselves. You want to live? Die to yourself. Die to this world so Christ can come alive in you.

In Galatians 2:20, Paul speaks of being crucified with Christ. You need to read this in your spare time. Don't have spare time? Make some. It's just that important. It's time to for you and for me to crucify!!!
